Creating an NFHS Network Event

This is necessary for all sports games that we are live streaming. Creating the event on NFHS can be done in advance or right before a live stream.

Go to Events

Website: http://console.nfhsnetwork.com/dashboard/

Click on Events on the Sidebar

Click on Add New Event

Select Sport

Click on Activity List
Select Activity
1. This dropdown is searchable

Input Competition Details

Gender
Type
1. Pre-Season Events are listed as Other
2. Usual events are listed as Regular Season
City - Hilo
Level - JV or Varsity
(Optional)
State - Hawaii

Set Participants

While typing in the name of a school, it should show up in a dropdown menu. Select the school from the provided list. If a school does not show up, check if the official school name includes symbols such as an apostrophe. Example: Instead of Keaau, it's Kea'au

If a school does not appear on the list, set the visiting school to Hilo High School, then add the name of the school in the Description. Please see the image above under: Input Competition Details

Press Next to Finish
