You can add things like links, YouTube videos or other attachments.
4.1. Adding Google Documents (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
Click on Add, then Google Drive
Look for the document TEMPLATE, and select it.

You can choose to create a new document from scratch directly from the new assignment window.
5. Student Permission
Students can view file: This means students have only READ ONLY access. They can look at it, but not comment or edit it.
(NOT RECOMMENDED) Students can edit file: This means that ANY student can modify the ORIGINAL TEMPLATE file.
(RECOMMENDED) Make a copy for each student: If a student needs to complete the assignment on their own, choose this option to create a copy for each student.
Make sure this is set up for what you want. You cannot change this option after it is posted.

8.1. Scheduling Assignments in Advance
If you would like to schedule assignments in advance, press the dropdown menu arrow, and click on schedule. Assignments can be pre-programmed to be posted in advance if you would like them to be posted on a certain day, at a certain time.
